HabiStat Dial Thermometer measures the temperature for a safe and perfect environment.Your terrarium environment will have different areas, which have different temperature requirements.Position the thermometer half way between the hot and cold end for an average reading. For more accurate monitoring use more than one and position in the area where you require a temperature reading.

HabiStat Coir Coarse Husk is a compressed block of coarse burrowing substrate for species from humid environments.It is 100% natural, organic and comes from sustainable resources. Biodegradable, non toxic, non abrasive. Wets quickly and holds water without draining.Directions for use: Place block into tray or bucket, add 3 litres of warm water. Leave for 1 hour to allow Coir to increase in size by 8 times. Top up with more water, if necessary.PH5.4 - 6.8

The HabiStat Mesh Panels allow for added air flow and exchange throughout the Terrarium and provide greater control over humidity. Having a fully mesh enclosure can prove hard to maintain heat and humidity for certain species. A full glass enclosure, while great for temperatures, can be more difficult for humidity control, again, depending on the species you keep and their requirements.
