Isn’t it ironic that a creature so huge can make such a graceful exit? Whales, particularly the humpback, can swim up to 16 miles per hour and then decide to show off with a dramatic tail slap. Just remember, if you’re ever lucky enough to spot one, don’t forget to keep your distance! They may be gentle giants, but respecting their space is a must.
